MCTXSheriff Provides Update on Homicide Investigation on Firefall Ct
On Friday November 13, 2020, as a result of the forensic investigation into the death of Mr. Thomas John
Kenney, MCTXSheriff Homicide/Violent Crimes Detectives added the additional charge of Murder to the
suspect who was arrested at the scene yesterday. Barbara Ann Kenney, wife of Thomas Kenney, was
arrested on November 12, 2020 and taken to the Montgomery County Jail where she remains today with a
Bond of $500,000.

MCTXSheriff Investigates Suspicious Death on Firefall Court
On Thursday November 12, 2020 at 8 am, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Welfare Check call at 34 Firefall Court, Spring, Texas. Upon arrival at the residence, MCTXSheriff Deputies observed a deceased male in the back yard who was determined to be the homeowner Thomas John Kenney (71 year old white male.)
During an extensive investigation, MCTXSheriff Homicide/Violent Crimes Detectives determined Barbara Ann Kenney was involved in this incident. At 2:52 pm Mrs. Kenney was placed under arrest and transported to the Montgomery County Jail where she was booked under charges of Tampering with Physical Evidence- Human Body. Further charges may be considered pending the results of a forensic investigation.
