One of Montgomery County Sheriff's Office objectives is to involve deputies and employees in on-going charitable events by having them involved in special needs projects. The idea is to build relationships within local communities by giving personnel and the people in the area they work opportunities to interact on a non-law enforcement level. This expression is heavily embedded in the Community Oriented Policing model that is the foundation of the Sheriff's Office mission statement.
We want to be present and actively interact with the community. Our goal is to develop a genuine community spirit in our employees where we can recognize how valuable each member of our community is.
